Prenote: I am preparing some informations and statistics for the world cup summary I am going to write but meanwhile let's have some fun with Real Madrid fans:

Interesting!! Making good money!!! Is that how you say "throwing away good money" in Spanish?? Let's just have a quick look at Real Madrid transfer (in) history for the period of last 3 seasons from 2003 to 2006:

If you subtract the $107 m Real Madrid earned from trasfering (out) Owen,Makelele,Samuel,Morientes and Geremi in the same period, they would have the transfer balance of -$107 m for 3 seasons. Notice that the heavy salary of players like Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane, Figo, Raul, Roberto Carlos,.... is not included in this amount. In addition the fact that, they have signed and sacked 5 managers (Queiroz 2003,Camacho 2004,Remon 2004, Luxemburgo 2004-2005, Caro 2005-2006) in this period, adds noticeable extra expences for the club (In fact with Capello (2006-?) they have had 6 managers in last 3 years. That is what Man Utd has had in last 36 years!!!).

My Spanish sucks!! But based on what I learned from my friend, Hesam, let's ask a question in Spanish :

All this "making money" is for what??

Answer: For no title in last 3 seasons, even a single domestic one!!!:))

As Hessam suggested (or thougth) , I was going to make a summary of the World Cup events and facts but I have been busy with my damn project since the final day (July 9th). Anyway I think I am going to do that in 5 or 6 coming posts!

World Cup 19

Italy and France in final!!! The first all-european final since 1982. Italy won the last all-european final in 1982. Are they going to repeat it in 2006??? We'll see!
